Matthew Pifer founded Handywork Hero in 2023 after five years as a carpenter. The idea was simple: bring skill, accuracy, and follow-through to repairs and smaller projects that often fall between DIY and a full remodeling company.

As Handywork Hero grew, its capabilities expanded into bathrooms, kitchens, basements, and larger renovations. That success clarified the need for two distinct customer promises.
Handywork Hero is now the dedicated handyman and home-service company: repairs, punch lists, small installations, maintenance, turnover work, finish carpentry, and compact improvements. Pifer Home Remodeling will handle complete rooms and complex multi-trade renovations.
This focus lets Handywork Hero move faster, schedule more efficiently, communicate more consistently, and build long-term relationships with homeowners.
