PREVENTIVE HOME CARE

Small problems rarely stay small.

A slow leak, cracked caulk, loose handrail, dirty vent, failing exterior seal, or overdue filter can quietly become a more expensive problem. HomeShield gives your house scheduled attention before the easy-to-miss list gets out of hand.

We help you find maintenance concerns while they are still manageable.

The Home Health Score is a proprietary maintenance-planning tool provided by Handywork Hero. It is based only on visible, accessible conditions reviewed during a limited maintenance visit. It is not a code inspection, engineering evaluation, environmental assessment, real-estate home inspection, warranty, appraisal, or certification of a home’s safety or condition. Some systems or categories may be excluded when they are inaccessible or outside the visit scope.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Clear expectations make a better membership.

HomeShield is preventive home care—not an unlimited repair plan or substitute for licensed inspections.

Is there a contract?

Membership is month-to-month and billed at $59 per month until canceled. Cancel before the next billing cycle.

How often do you visit?

Four scheduled visits each membership year, generally one per season and based on route availability.

What counts toward the 60 minutes?

Minor handyman and maintenance work such as adjustments, tightening hardware, replacing customer-supplied filters, lubricating hinges, changing accessible batteries, small caulk touchups, and similar tasks that reasonably fit the time.

What if larger repairs are needed?

We explain what we observed and provide a separate estimate before doing additional work.

Are filters, batteries, and materials included?

No. Customers may supply consumables and specialty materials, or Handywork Hero can provide them at additional cost.

Do unused visits roll over?

No. Visits expire at the end of each membership year so scheduling remains available to active members.

Do I need to be home?

An adult 18 or older must be present unless another arrangement has been confirmed in writing.

Is HomeShield an emergency service?

No. HomeShield is a preventive maintenance program. Urgent or emergency work is scheduled separately and based on availability.
